Hill & Knowlton appoints Genelle Aldred to accelerate the growth of spokesperson training offer

JANUARY 2024, LONDON – Hill & Knowlton, the global strategic communications leader for transformation, has hired Genelle Aldred to expand its spokesperson training offer in the UK.

Aldred joins as a Senior Associate Director and brings fifteen years of experience in media to the team, having worked as a journalist with broadcasters including the BBC, ITV, ITN and 5 News. Previously Aldred ran her own corporate communications consultancy and worked as Deputy Chair for Women in Journalism. Her experience and expertise include digital, production, social media, and public speaking and she has also published an acclaimed book on using communication to drive social justice.

Aldred’s remit will see her support the continued growth and success of the agency’s training consultancy. She will help to grow the service by bringing in new clients and diversifying the team’s portfolio and perspective – drawing upon her experience as a communications trainer with organisations including London Stock Exchange Group, Text Help, and Hitachi Energy.
