Hill & Knowlton strengthens Health & Wellness Communications team with the addition of Jennifer Obeid
Hill & Knowlton (H&K), Canada’s leading public relations and public affairs firm, is proud to announce the addition of Jennifer Obeid as Vice-President, Health & Wellness Communications, to its team in Toronto. – A passionate strategic advisor and health communications leader, Jennifer brings extensive experience managing teams that develop and deliver industry-leading communications programs for both public and private sector health organizations. “Jennifer brings more than 20 years of experience working with health professionals, research hospitals, patient organizations, government agencies and innovative companies on leading health communications campaigns,” said Laura Greer, Senior Vice President & National Sector Lead, Health & Wellness, H&K Canada. “She is a real asset to our team and to the clients we have the privilege of working with.” Throughout her career, Jennifer has applied her strengths in strategic counsel and advisory to some of Canada’s leading healthcare giants, including Alcon, Bayer, Boehringer Ingelheim, Eli-Lilly, Gilead Sciences. In addition, Jennifer has held senior roles at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, Cancer Care Ontario (now Ontario Health) and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, where she managed cross-functional teams in charge of corporate communications, issues management, media relations and digital communications. By working with such a diverse set of clients and organizations, Jennifer has established a strong track record of helping large brands navigate sensitive issues while driving omnichannel communications strategies and programs that have received national and international recognition, as well as awards.
