Hill&Knowlton Strategies promotes Mariana Tuis to Managing Director of Mexico

Introduction – February 8, 2023, Mexico City – Hill+Knowlton Strategies (H+K), one of the world’s leading communications firms, is expanding its Latin American management team with the promotion of Mariana Tuis to Managing Director, Mexico. In her new role, Tuis will focus on the continued growth of the agency’s national operations, leading client engagement, practice area expansion, and talent growth.
Second paragraph – Tuis brings nearly two decades of experience in public relations and specializes in strategic communications, reputation management, and integrated marketing. She is an expert in leading multi-market integrated communications programs and specialists across client industries including technology, pharmaceuticals, retail, and tourism. Tuis began her career at Hill+Knowlton Mexico in 2007 as an account executive. Subsequently, she lived in Spain for five years, where she worked for a technology and digital communications consulting firm. In 2011, she returned to H+K Mexico serving as a director within the technology practice. She was appointed vice president in 2016, leading business development and strategic client engagements and in 2020, was named executive vice president, a position from which she continued to lead business development along with the technology, health, and consumer marketing practices. Mariana holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from ITAM and a dual master’s degree in Crisis Management and Corporate Social Responsibility from Complutense University of Madrid.
