Happy McDay For The Children 2022

Since 1999, McDonald's Guatemala has celebrated the “Happy McDay for the children”, a concept made in Guatemala.

The organization donates 100% of the value of Big Macs sold during this special day, to different causes that benefit children.  

This year, the initiative was carried out simultaneously in four Central America countries where McDonald's Mesoamerica operates: Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua.

To announce the upcoming edition, H&K supported MCD by organizing an in-person press event in Guatemala, developing an ambitious media and influencers relations strategy, the limited capacity event was attended by more than 100 guests.

Happy McDay is an intense activity, where thousands of Guatemalans visit, call and use McDonald's APP, to buy all the Big Macs they can, as it has become a yearly tradition.
