H&K helps a globally recognized retailer to navigate global geopolitical risk and supports decision making around issues with material and reputational impact, coordinating the efforts of the client’s Global PA, Sustainability and Business Risk teams. The H&K team played a key role in tackling issues around the company’s withdrawal from Russia, a key market, and their approach to human rights compliance in China. The team also conducts scenario planning to explore the business implications of future geopolitical scenarios, including the evolution of U.S-China relations as well as broader industry issues, such as emerging regulations around ESG reporting.
