Hill & Knowlton (H&K), Canada’s leading public relations and public affairs firm, has bolstered its industry-leading Corporate Communications & Advisory team with the recent addition of three communications experts: Katie Feenan, Grégoire Carrière and Mathieu Labrèche.

"As we navigate a world where reputation directly impacts business, H&K has placed a sharp focus on growing our Corporate Communications & Advisory team to lead the way,” said Sheila Wisniewski, President & CEO of H&K Canada. “Adding fresh expertise to the team provides the best service possible for our clients and reflects H&K’s commitment to helping clients clearly communicate their purpose and values and build trust with key stakeholders to drive sustainable success.“

Katie Feenan, Vice President, Communications & Public Affairs, joins H&K holding two decades of both local and international experience in roles blending communications, politics, public policy and research. Until recently, Katie was Director of Policy and Content Programming with the Public Policy Forum, a leading Canadian think tank, and has also held roles in Canadian federal politics in the office of the Prime Minister, the Leader of the Official Opposition and the Member of Parliament for Vancouver Centre. With H&K, Katie is leading strategic communications and public affairs mandates for clients in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors on a wide range of important issues, like healthcare, education, manufacturing and energy.

Grégoire Carrière, Senior Account Director, Communications & Public Engagement, is a fluently bilingual public engagement and communications strategist having worked for Canada’s most senior executives and elected officials across several key sectors including government, post-secondary education, healthcare, non-profit, and central banking. He is also an experienced speechwriter, editor and content producer. With H&K, Grégoire is skillfully leading the design and facilitation of dialogue to inform decision-making on some of Canada’s most complex projects and challenging policy issues.

Mathieu Labrèche, Vice President, Corporate Communications & Advisory, is fluently bilingual and brings more than 15 years’ experience in corporate and financial communications, media relations, issues management and public affairs in government, capital markets and banking. Before joining H&K, Mathieu was Vice President, Media Strategy & Communications at the Canadian Bankers Association and has held senior roles with TMX Group, KPMG Canada and in the office of the Ontario Minister of Finance.

"This team’s strength lies in the unique expertise they individually bring to the table to collectively deliver exceptional results,” said Neil Parmenter, Senior Vice President & National Lead, Corporate Communications & Advisory. ”Katie’s deep understanding of politics and public policy issues, Grégoire’s public engagement and writing experience and Mathieu’s background in corporate and financial services are invaluable assets to the agency and ensure that we consistently exceed client expectations.”
